Make Our Home Your Home
Stockport CP Society offers residential care at Cheddle Lodge, a purpose built single storey home located close to Cheadle town centre. We can accommodate up to 13 residents aged 18 to 65 years old. Cheddle Lodge specialises in providing care and support to adults who have complex needs.
WHAT DO WE PROVIDE?
Our highly trained team of staff are able to support residents with multiple disabilities and complex health needs within a caring, homely environment.
Cheddle Lodge is fitted with high tech tracking equipment that enables residents to be moved in a safe and secure manner; for example from bed to wheelchair or wheelchair to bath.
Each resident has their own spacious single bedroom and residents are actively encouraged to be involved in the design and decoration of their rooms.
A sun lounge has been purpose built to allow residents to enjoy the lovely garden in a peaceful, quiet environment even when the British weather is not favourable.
We encourage family and friends to visit and spend time at Cheddle Lodge. Relatives meet on a regular basis to feedback their views on the quality of services provided which is integral in maintaining our excellent standards of care.
We organise regular days out and community-based activities for residents. Recent activities have included canal trips, holidays, concerts and local shopping trips.
As a person-centred organisation we believe the first step should be for us to meet.
We will put you in touch with one of our trained members of staff.
They will arrange to visit and find out more about what you want to do.
They will listen to you about the support you want, and the needs that you have. We will write this down as your ‘Pathway’ and we will agree how to support you, make it clear what support you can expect to receive and we will set out your rights and our responsibilities.
